Winemaker's tasting notes on the Norfolk Rise cabernet sauvignon 2005 - Bouquet - Fine, ripe and restrained cabernet sauvignon nose with earthy notes and cedar spice, very subdued blackcurrants and just a touch of violet perfume. Palate - Rich, dark berry fruits with a spine of firm lingering tannins. Ageing Potential - Likely lifespan 2010 with optimal year being 2007/8.
